Income Audit Supervisor

Closing Date: May 21, 2012

Description

Responsible for supervision, training, evaluation, interviewing, assigning and monitoring work of Income Auditor staff.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting required. Minimum three years of accounting and auditing. One year supervisory experience in casino gaming, or hospitality preferred. Additional education or related experience may substitute for the minimum requirements. Must have the ability to supervise, train and monitor work of Income Auditors and Income Audit Assistant; perform multiple gaming and non-gaming audit assignments with attention to detail and accuracy; reconcile account information; prepare accounting reports on audit findings; interpret department and casino policies and procedures; conduct research in a detailed and timely manner; maintain control over accounting forms and related tax documents; comply with internal controls; work with internal and external auditors, gaming regulators, and finance department managers; and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. This position is subject to long periods of sitting, use of hand and finger dexterity, use of eye sight, long periods of concentration, lifting or moving items weighing up to 40 pounds, and occasionally work in a smoke filled environment.

Executive Sous Chef

Description

Assists executive chef in managing the kitchen efficiently and profitably. Supervises kitchen personnel. Assists executive chef in implementing procedures and schedules employees. Prepare menu specials and recipes. Conducts ongoing training of kitchen personnel. Issues proper amount of food and supplies. Will assist the executive chef in cost control of food, labor and supplies.

Requirements

Must have five years experience in kitchen management, have training in sanitation policies and procedures and be a graduate of a culinary school or equivalent. Must have knowledge in all aspects of kitchen procedures, operations and Board of Health regulations. Must be able to operate cooking equipment and have extensive knowledge in broiling, sautéing, steaming, baking and sauce specialties. Must have an understanding of P&L statements, be a motivator and demonstrate superior employee relations skills. Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours a day, have the mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis and the ability to lift 40 pounds. Must have a valid food handler’s card. Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment.

Banquet Captain

Description

Provides superior guest service by coordinating banquets and events for the casino to ensure food and beverage service is presented appropriately. Communicates with the food and beverage staff assigned to the event to ensure proper coverage, executes special requests, oversees the set up and tear down of each event, and assists shift managers with performance evaluations of staff. Performs other job related duties as assigned by department manager.

Requirements

• Banquet Captain: Must have two or more years experience serving in events and banquets; prior Banquet Captain experience is preferred. Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time, be able to lift 40 pounds, use of hand and finger dexterity, good communication skills and ability to work in a crowded fast paced environment. Must have a valid food handler’s card. Additional education or experience may substitute for the minimum requirements of this position. Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment.

Lead Line Cook

Description

Responsible for cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner to order. Assists with prep work, handles routine daily cleaning, trains new line staff and assists with scheduling. Contributes to casino’s high standards of superior guest service.

Requirements

Culinary training with at least three years experience in line cooking for a dinner house. Must have experience in grilling, broiling, sautéing, and steaming. Experience in training of staff is preferred. Must be fast and capable of working on as many as 30 orders at a time with the ability to coordinate cooking times with co-workers. Must have valid food handler’s card and be able to stand for longer than 8 hours. Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment.

Provides superior guest service by greeting patrons of the casino, handles buy-in and payoff transactions and deals table games while adhering to department policies and procedures. Effectively communicates with managers and staff, verifies fills, credits and chip amounts issued.

Requirements

Prior casino dealing experience required. Must have dealt at least two of our three major games (Blackjack, Craps and Roulette). Must be able to stand for extended lengths of time, have good math skills, and be able to follow detailed instructions. Manual and finger dexterity required. Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment.

Security Officer (Full Time & Part Time)

Ensures a safe and secure environment to casino patrons while providing superior guest service.

Requirements

Prior security experience required. Able to learn and follow detailed security manual procedures. Excellent communication and guest service skills. Extra Board Food Server

Greets patrons and provides beverages, suggests menu items and takes food orders while providing superior guest service. Accepts money and makes change, operates POS system, keeps food server station stocked and cleans tables as needed.

Requirements

Minimum two years high volume fine dining or casual dining food service experience is required. Must have good grooming habits and manners with ability to provide excellent guest service. Must be able to follow specific instructions and have a valid food handler’s card. Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours, have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and the mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis. Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment.

Lead Hostess/Cashier

Responsible for training new hostess/cashiers; provides superior guest service by greeting casino patrons, finding suitable seating, and makes and maintains reservations. Assists with beverage service as needed, keeps hostess area stocked and clean, and acts as cashier.

Requirements

One year restaurant experience required. Prior training experience preferred. Must be able to make correct change and calculate daily receipts. Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours. Extra Board Beverage Server

Bartending School helpful. Six months experience cocktail serving required. Must be able to stand and walk for extended lengths of time. Ability to work with POS systems. Description

Handles receiving and storage of all food, supplies, and necessary materials for kitchen department. Provides internal guest service by effectively communicating with kitchen staff to ensure daily orders are fulfilled; assists with daily inventory and maintains a sanitary storage area.

Requirements

Must be able to handle receiving food, supplies and materials for the kitchen and take a daily inventory. Valid food handler’s card required with one year experience in a high volume full service restaurant. Knowledge of proper food storage procedures required. Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours, have the ability to lift 40 pounds and the mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis. Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment.

Extra Board Bartender

Description

Provides superior guest service by greeting guests, efficiently mixing and serving drinks, and ensuring the bar area is clean and presentable at all times. Keeps accurate records of inventory, accepts and exchanges money for payment and performs barback duties once a week.

Requirements

Bartending School recommended. Experience may substitute for schooling. One year experience bartending. Must know all cocktails, beers, wines and non-alcoholic drinks. Good communication skills required. Must have valid food handler’s card. Must be neat, clean and professional and able to work well with customers and coworkers and have the ability to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment.

Housekeeper

Description

Performs routine cleaning of guest rooms and interior of hotel as assigned by Housekeeping Manager to ensure a clean, orderly and presentable environment. Provides superior guest service while interacting with patrons of the casino.

Requirements

One year hotel guestroom cleaning experience required. Knowledge of using cleaning solutions and floor machines required. Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours, have the ability to lift 25 pounds and the mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis. Must be able to tolerate working in a smoke filled environment.
