Senior HR Generalist: Employee Relations/Training

Description
Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, execute strategies for implementing training and organizational development initiatives. Satisfy training needs by researching and designing training programs and introduce new trends in training and development to meet the Casino’s goals and objectives. Supervise the Employee Relations division. Support an innovative team environment through a creative approach to problem solving and continuous learning. Manage employment issues but not limited to corrective actions, recommendations, development, implementation and other employee related functions. Coordinate EE Relations programs and promote positive EE Relations through EE Recognition Programs.

Requirements
Must have five to seven years Human Resources experience as an HR Generalist or above, preferably in the Hospitality or Casino industry; Tribal Casino experience preferred. Three to five years of Organizational Development, Training Development, and experience in Management and HR required along with three to five years Supervisory experience with a direct focus in training implementation. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Communications or Psychology with experience in an organization of 1000+. Experience described above may be substituted on a year for year basis for education requirements. Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment.

Training Manager

Description
Works directly with the SR HR Generalist to identify,
develop and implement strategic training objectives for Emerald Queen Casino. Fulfills all mandatory training requirements to ensure the organization’s overall effectiveness and compliance.

Requirements
Three years Human Resources experience and ten years training experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field. Must have excellent organizational, public relations and presentation skills and experience delivering Human Resources related training. Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment.
